You heard us- Don’t burn bridges!
On set, emotions can be running high and things can get tense. Don't let your emotions ruin good relationships.
When you feel yourself getting emotional, your first instinct may be to walk out or blow up on someone. No one wants to earn a reputation as a crier or a screamer on set.
Instead of running and hiding or wallowing in self-pity when you’ve lost it, bring a good dose of compassion and curiosity to the situation. It is important to keep your cool.
The director and other actors you work with will remember if you lose it on set. Not only will this job be affected by the outburst, you may lose out on opportunities in the long run when the director and other actors warn their colleagues about your sensitivity.
Instead, remain level headed and stay on good terms with people no matter what happens. Not getting your way on something small will be well worth saving your reputation.
You never know when a relationship can help you out down the line!
