Learn from critiques and use these to improve your skill. Ask people directly what they think you can do better.
If you see criticism as data instead of insults, you will be able to find the common denominator in what people say and improve accordingly.
Most people, if they do not care, will not give you any criticism. So, listen to your critics because they will help you to improve.
Take every criticism with a grain of salt.
Meaning, just because someone said something about your performance does not make it true- that is just their opinion. If a lot of people are critiquing the same aspect of your performance, then listen and adjust accordingly.
Always ask yourself if the criticism was said to help you or to make you feel small. If it is legitimate, remember it and ask someone else if they feel the same. If it was to make you small, discredit it and move on.
